People think bullying and thug like behaviour doesn’t happen in Grammar because it’s full of intelligent pupils who passed the 11+ right?...Wrong! Grammar school selection in the UK is so corrupt, lots of kids whose parents know the right people get places irrespective of doing or passing the 11+. Some parents who know the right people are often nasty characters themselves and breed equally nasty kids. You’re just as likely if not more likely to meet hooligans at a Grammar as you would at an inner-city comprehensive school. There’s nothing nice about grammar.

It shocks me to this very day how schools get away with this. Back in 1999 I left school one lunch time of my own accord due to pretty similar things that happened to you but a little less incidences in number. I commend you for sticking it out! I wouldn't of gone back for anything! xo
